HAND-PAINTED CHEST OF DRAWERS e725

- This is my pride and joy at the moment! It’s a solid mahogany Scottish chest of drawers, hand-painted in ‘Octavius’ by Colortrend, with antique gold lettering. It has a secret drawer, hence THE SECRET LIES WITHIN! I left the handles in their original lovely state. 51″ wide, 38″ high, 2′ deep.
- The mirror is contemporary, but I like it’s simple, classic shape. I painted it in the same very dark , purpley grey. e110.
- On the left is a C19th antique lacquered papier-mache table top, hand-painted and inset with mother-of-pearl, made into a hanging wall piece ,e185.
- On the right is an antique metal wall candle-sconce, e85 and one of the small green-oak block tables, e120.
