This is two separate pieces that I thought worked well together as a childs bedroom or playroom storage cupboard, hence the juicy green inside!
The base is a real piece of peasant furniture, probably home-made, out of elm, with beautiful bird carving around the top. My neighbour in the yard, Tia, says she has seen similar pieces in India . I have no idea where this is from or how old it is, but I think it is a bit special!
The top is a pine cupboard to which I added shelves.
