ECLECTIC INTERIORS is a one-off; a unique, independent little interiors shop…..
Situated in the beautifully restored stone Stable Yard of Castlecomer Discovery Park in County Kilkenny, it redefines the idea of the traditional antique shop, offering a mix of restored and renovated antique furniture. Elegantly painted and re-upholstered Irish pieces rub shoulders with ethnic antiques, vintage curios and decorative accessories, in an eclectic mix of contemporary country style.
Selina Gittins opened Eclectic Interiors in 2008. After studying furniture making in the UK and working for Cato Furniture in Bristol, she moved to Kilkenny, completed a degree in Fine Art in NCAD in Dublin and renovated 2 old farmhouses. These skills, together with a love of Auctions and interesting old things led to the idea of Eclectic Interiors; a source of unique, quality, restored and renovated antique furniture and one-off, vintage collectibles.
In 2012, Selina became the Kilkenny stockist of the renowned Annie Sloan range of paints and waxes, and began running Courses on Furniture Painting and taking on commissions to renovate, paint and customize client’s furniture and kitchens.
